A note to catalogers: the Montessori Glossary has evolved into a linked data thesaurus of Montessori terms designed for use in subject cataloging and information retrieval. It includes preferred terms, synonym control, hierarchical and associative relationships, and scope notes. The Montessori Glossary may be used as a controlled vocabulary for subject indexing to enhance the discovery of Montessori resources in library catalogs and research databases.
